Terms
These terms cover the waitlist only. HandpickedRoles is not open yet, there is nothing to subscribe to, and no money changes hands. A full set of terms will replace this page before the product opens.
What you are agreeing to
By giving us your email address you are asking to be told when HandpickedRoles opens. In return we will send you one email at that point. You can ask us to remove your address at any time by writing to privacy@handpickedroles.com or using the unsubscribe link in that email.
What we are not promising
We are not promising a launch date, a place in any queue, a particular price, or that the product will do any specific thing described on this site. Everything here describes what we are building, not a service you can use today. Plans change, and some of what is described may not ship in the form described.
Joining the waitlist does not create an account, a contract for service, or an obligation on either side beyond the single email above.
What the product will and will not do
Stated here because it is the part people most often assume wrongly.
- It will not apply to jobs on your behalf. There is no auto-apply, and there will not be one.
- It will not write or tailor your resume or cover letters.
- It will not contact employers, recruiters, or your network for you.
- Scoring is automated. Nobody at HandpickedRoles reads postings on your behalf and hand-picks them. The standard is yours, and applying it is done by software.
Accuracy of job information
Job postings come from employers' own career sites. We do not control their content, we cannot guarantee a role is still open or that its description is accurate, and a score is our reading of a posting rather than advice about whether to apply. Always check the original posting before acting on anything you see.
Using this site
Do not submit an address that is not yours, attempt to disrupt the site, or use automated means to submit entries. We may remove entries that appear to be automated or fraudulent.
Changes
We may update these terms. If the change is material and you are on the waitlist, we will tell you by email rather than quietly editing this page.
